Lake Wales Arts Center Adult Classes

Whether you want to learn something new or build on your skills, there are many opportunities for you through art classes at the Center. The following schedule is dependent upon a minimum of six paid students prior to the first class. Call the Center to determine supplies you will need for each  class.

Watercolor Classes with instructor Jan Fetters continue in 2007 with:
 
Advanced Watercolor: 5 weeks, Tuesday Mornings 9 a.m. - noon   February 20 - March 20. $70 members/$80 others

Intermediate Watercolor: 5 weeks, Wednesday Mornings 9 a.m. - noon, February 21 - March 21. $70 members/$80 others

Composition and Design. Jan Fetters will be back once again to conduct this very popular workshop. Students of any painting media are urged to attend this workshop to learn the basics of composition and design from an award winning artist. Bring your favorite painting supplies and learn to create wonderfully balanced paintings.  February 14 and 15  $75 members/$85 others

Oil and Acrylic Painting   Lois Kimball will instruct students in the Old Masters way of painting using an underpainting and techniques to help you improve your paintings or learn from the beginning. Students of all levels are invited to attend this series of six weeks, Monday 6 - 9 p.m. February 5 - March 12.  Classes are $80 for members/$90 others. Students bring their own supplies

Portrait Painting with award winning artist and instructor Toni Treverton. Feb. 24 and 25  9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  $75 for members and $85 others. Ms. Treverton has won numerous awards for her wonderful portraits. Here is your opportunity to learn to create life-like portraits. Sign us Now!
