36th Annual
Lake Wales Art Show on the shores of beautiful Lake Wailes
March 24 and 25, 2007 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Lake Wales Art Show is a Free, public event that draws more than 30,000 visitors to the area during the two-days. Held under the graceful and shady oak trees along the shore of Lake Wailes, the Art Show is always a fun and exciting weekend for the entire family.
More than 130 fine artists will display their work that will include paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and more along with sculpture, jewelry, glass, pottery, photography, metal, wood and mixed media. For the children, there will be a Children's Activity Tent sponsored by Lilly, O'Toole and Brown where all the activities are free and children can enjoy themselves creating their own masterpieces.
Along with the wonderful artwork you will also enjoy the entertainment provided by local talent which will include a sampling of music for everyone.
Of course, any event would not be complete without food! So bring your appetite and sample the many food items available from lemonade and soft drinks to Italian sausage, funnel cakes, hot dogs and many special items.
