The Lake Wales Chorale

The Lake Wales Chorale under the direction of Dr. Gabriel Statom, blends more than 70 strong voices who enjoy choral music and sharing their talents with the community.

On March 30 and 31, 2007, the Lake Wales Chorale will present music by Italian Masters including Vivaldi's Magnificat, Verdi's Four Sacred Pieces and Rossini's Stabat Mater along with other great Italian music. They will be joined by soloists and orchestra to end their season as they prepare for a second concert tour.The performance will be on March 30 & 31.

In May and June of 2007 the Lake Wales Chorale will be traveling to Italy where they will be singing in several locations including singing at a mass in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican and other venues in Rome, Florence, Assisi and Venice.

The Spring Concert will be held at the Lake Wales First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales. Reserved Seating. Tickets are $15 and $4 for students and children. For more information or to order tickets call 863-676-8426.

Lake Wales Youth Chorale

The Lake Wales Youth Chorale begins its next semester in January and will be preparing for their Spring concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 at the Lake Wales Arts Center.  

Under the direction of Kathy Montero, the Youth Chorale has blossomed into a fine group of young musicians. Children age 8 - 15 who are interested in music are encouraged to audition for the Youth Chorale and join in the fun as they learn great chorale music. The Youth Chorale practices on  Mondays and Tuesdays at the Arts Center.  Call the Arts Center for more details or to arrange for an audition.
