Four slides are required _ three slides showing individual
pieces and one slide showing your overall exhibit. All work
exhibited must be of equal quality to that shown in the slides.
Please print your name clearly on each slide and print "top"
on each slide indicating top of artwork.
We suggest care in photographing work. The Screening Committee
can only judge work by what they see on slides. Improper lighting,
too many works shown on one slide, confusing backgrounds, and
blurred slides make judging difficult or impossible. |

Space Fee: $75.00, including tax
Note: Send separate checks for entry and space fees. Checks should be made payable to Lake Wales Art Show. Checks for spaces will be held until acceptance is confirmed.

Notices of acceptance or non-acceptance will be mailed by
January 26, 2004. Slides will be included with notices, and
space fees will also be returned to those artists not accepted.

RULES
|
| 1. |
Participation is limited to artists showing their OWN ORIGINAL
WORKS OF ART created after 2002. No kits, manufactured items,
T-shirts and other forms of clothing, molds, patterns, or predetermined
art will be accepted. The committee reserves the right to remove
any exhibit or work of art considered inappropriate or which
does not meet its standards. No stand-in or proxy exhibitors
will be allowed to represent the artist. |
| 2. | The show is limited to approximately 120 exhibitors. |
| 3. | Each artist is responsible for collecting Florida Sales Tax on all sales made during the show. |
| 4. | An artist may apply to enter as many categories as desired, but only exhibit those works in the categories accepted by the Selection Committee. |

An accepted application is a conunittment to participate in
the show and no refunds will be made for cancellation after
March 13, 2004. |
| 6. |
Registration is required before displays can be set up. Registration
and set up will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on March 26 and from
6:30 to 8:30 a.m. on March 27. All space assignments must be
obtained at the Registration Desk. Information kits will be
issued to each artist at this time. |
| 7. | Artists must stay within the confines of the alloted space, approximately 12'x 12'. Only one exhibitor will be permitted in each space.

Exhibits must be in place by 9:30 a.m. March 27 and REMAIN
IN PLACE UNTIL 5:00 p.m. Judging will begin at 9:30 a.m. and
winners will be determined by 3:30 p. m. |
| 9. | Artists' vehicles must be out of the unloading area and parked in the designated parking areas by 9:30 a.m. AND NOT RETURN to reload until after 5:00 p.m.

| 10. | Artists must prominently display the identification cards provided by the Registration Committee that show name, space number, city of residence and medium on the right hand front of the display.
|
| 11. | The display of previously won awards, ribbons, news clippings, etc., including any work, which has been a winner in an earlier Lake Wales show, will not be permitted.
